Former Director-General of TechForce in Ukraine, Kateryna Myhalko becomes Managing Director of the UXS Alliance, translating hard-earned lessons from war into European industrial capability.
Munich, Feburary 2026 – The UXS Alliance today announced the appointment of Kateryna Myhalko as its new Managing Director, effective immediately. Myhalko brings extensive experience from the frontline of Ukraine’s defence innovation ecosystem and will lead the UXS Alliance into its next phase of growth and strategic impact. Myhalko joins the UXS Alliance following her tenure as Director-General of Tech Force in UA, where she led one of Ukraine’s most influential defence industry associations. In this role, she worked closely with government, armed forces, and international partners to integrate private defence technology at scale, with a particular fous on unmanned and robotic systems across domains. A central pillar of her work at Tech Force in UA was the long-standing effort to lift export restrictions on Ukrainian defence industry products. These efforts culminated in the decision by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on 8 February to lift the export restrictions, marking a milestone for Ukraine’s defence industry and its integration into the European and allied security ecosystem. This transition coincides with the UXS Alliance’s ambition to strengthen cross-border industrial cooperation between Ukraine and the EU and to accelerate the deployment of interoperable, software-driven unmanned systems for Europe and its allies.
“The lessons from Ukraine are clear: defence innovation must be fast, scalable, and internationally connected,” said Kateryna Myhalko, Managing Director of the UXS Alliance. “At the UXS Alliance, we now have the opportunity to apply these lessons at a European level and turn them into lasting capability.”
Under Myhalko’s leadership, the UXS Alliance will intensify its work on cross-domain interoperability, common software frameworks, and scalable production models, while expanding engagement with European institutions, armed forces, and allied partners.
