Call for Proposals opened: proposals for impactful drone applications can be submitted up to and including 31 July 2026.
Dutch Drone Delta (DDD) is opening a Call for Proposals for new drone use cases in the Netherlands. Companies, start-ups and scale-ups, government bodies, academia, and regional partnerships are invited to submit proposals for concrete applications of unmanned aerial vehicle technology with both societal and economic impact.
With this call, Dutch Drone Delta aims to bring together parties willing to work on practical drone solutions for societal and operational challenges. The focus is on applications that, after the testing phase, can develop into practical drone solutions that can also be deployed in other locations in the Netherlands.
Co-financing up to €25,000 per use case
For the selected use cases, Dutch Drone Delta makes co-financing available up to a maximum of €25,000 per use case . This may consist of financial support, hours, out-of-pocket expenses, and guidance from the DDD team. In addition, selected parties gain access to the broad DDD partner network.
First round: safety and resilience
The first round focuses primarily on the theme of safety and resilience . Think of applications related to surveillance, incident response, situational awareness, critical infrastructure, counter-drones, or other safety issues. Proposals within other themes, such as healthcare, mobility, nature management, and energy, may also be submitted; these will be treated as a priority in a subsequent round.
“Many good drone innovations get stuck between idea, test, and practice. With this Call for Proposals, we want to make that step smaller. We are looking for parties with a concrete challenge or a promising application, and connect them with the network, knowledge, and practical environments needed to move forward,” says Lennard Verhoeff, Chairman of Dutch Drone Delta.
