Event 38 Unmanned Systems, a leading manufacturer of American-made VTOL fixed-wing drones, has completed delivery of E455 fixed-wing VTOL drone systems and mission payloads to the Florida State Guard (FSG) to support training, evaluation, and operational readiness for emergency response and public safety missions across the state.
The Florida State Guard’s primary focus is providing rapid emergency response in support of disaster relief, crisis management, and public safety missions. Working alongside the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Highway Patrol and other key partners, the FSG will deploy Event 38’s E455 Fixed Wing VTOL Drone as a force multiplier to deliver real time aerial intelligence when and where it matters most.
The E455 drone will be used to collect critical information during crisis and emergency response operations, survey and map areas affected by severe weather, and support search and rescue missions while utilizing new Lifeseeker technology by Centum to locate individuals in distress or in imminent danger.
“We are proud to work with an organization as prestigious as the Florida State Guard,” said Jeff Taylor, CEO and Founder of Event 38 Unmanned Systems. “They are pioneering new capabilities and CONOPs that promise to change the way emergency managers utilize UAS.”
Event 38’s E455 Drone is a heavy-lift, long endurance, Fixed-Wing VTOL Drone designed for both ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) and other use cases like mapping and critical infrastructure inspections. With its extended flight time, secure communications, and ability to carry advanced payloads like the Lifeseeker system, the E455 is uniquely suited to support FSG’s diverse mission sets across the
State of Florida.
