TEKEVER, a leading pan-European technology company driving innovation in defence and security through AI-centric autonomous systems, and EPE New Zealand Ltd, a provider of robotic and autonomous solutions in New Zealand, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership focused on supporting advanced autonomous systems capability in the New Zealand market.
The partnership brings together TEKEVER’s proven experience in delivering autonomous systems and real-time intelligence capabilities with EPE’s local expertise, established customer relationships, and track record of delivering mission-critical technologies in New Zealand. Together, the two companies aim to support evolving requirements across maritime and land domains with mature, interoperable and mission-ready uncrewed systems.
“New Zealand is a strategically important market for TEKEVER,” said Paulo Ferro, VP of Strategic Development at TEKEVER. “Our approach is built around close dialogue with end users, ensuring our systems evolve in line with real operational needs. Partnering with EPE allows us to combine that pace of innovation with strong local insight and trusted market presence.”
The partnership draws on TEKEVER’s portfolio of autonomous systems and intelligence capabilities, including:
AR5: a medium-altitude, medium-endurance platform designed for long-range missions across air, maritime and land domains, including maritime patrol, surveillance, search and rescue, and persistent wide-area monitoring.
AR3 EVO: a modular system combining fixed-wing efficiency with precision VTOL, well suited to maritime and land ISR missions where flexibility, rapid deployment and a low logistical footprint are critical.
ATLAS: TEKEVER’s real-time intelligence capability, providing decision-makers with intelligent onboard and on-ground tools for live and historical data exploitation.
The collaboration will be highlighted at the NZDIA Uncrewed Systems Showcase in Auckland on 20th March 2026, where EPE will engage with stakeholders from across the defence and security community.
“This partnership with TEKEVER represents a significant step forward in strengthening New Zealand’s autonomous systems capability,” said Andy Cross, General Manager of EPE New Zealand. “By combining TEKEVER’s genuinely mature and proven autonomous platforms with EPE’s deep understanding of the local operating environment, we bring decades of experience delivering robotic and autonomous systems into operational use, including the integration of platforms with sensors and effectors, and supported by specialist training and local through-life support.”
