The African Drone Forum (ADF) today announced the launch of the first-ever Africa Pavilion at the leading international platform for uncrewed systems and autonomy, debuting at XPONENTIAL Europe 2026, taking place March 24 to 26, 2026, at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. The Pavilion is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) project “Triangular cooperation for digital innovations Made in Africa” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as Public Innovation Partner, reflecting a shared commitment to sustainable innovation, private-sector development, and the responsible adoption of drone for good and AI technologies across Africa.
This announcement marks a milestone for the African drone and robotics ecosystem. For the first time, Africa will have a unified, continent-level pavilion presence at a globally recognized, leading autonomy and uncrewed systems exhibition, creating structured visibility and formal engagement with international industry, government, and investment stakeholders. XPONENTIAL Europe is Europe’s leading gathering for uncrewed systems, autonomy, and robotics, convening senior decision-makers from industry, government, research institutions, and investment communities. The Africa Pavilion will serve as a dedicated platform to showcase export-ready African drone and robotics innovators while strengthening Africa–Europe commercial, technology, and policy partnerships.
