Bluffdale, UT-based defense company Vector has secured a $20 million loan from J.P. Morgan to expand domestic small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) manufacturing capacity.
The financing follows Vector’s Series A funding round, which closed in September 2025 and raised $61 million. That round drew investment from Pelion Venture Partners, Harpoon Ventures, Point72 Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Run Ventures, Dauntless Ventures, GSB Backers, Alumni Ventures, Kickstart Fund, Shield Capital, R7, Cambria Group, and Stony Lonesome Group.
J.P. Morgan Loan Targets sUAS Manufacturing Scale
Vector will deploy the J.P. Morgan debt to expand production at its Utah factory, reinforce domestic supply chains, and increase inventory purchases. The company serves military and law enforcement partners requiring supply-chain-secure, domestically produced sUAS.

Attritable, One-Way sUAS for Modern Combat
Vector’s core product focus centers on low-cost, attritable one-way systems — a category increasingly required by modern combat doctrine. The company designs and manufactures its platforms entirely in the United States, with an emphasis on compliant supply chains, consistent assembly, and production models engineered to transition prototypes to fielded capability.
Vector combines scalable production with operator-driven design and integrated lethality. Its additional offerings include counter-UAS-as-a-service (CUAS) and sensor integration, both aimed at delivering superior situational awareness and operational effectiveness to U.S. military partners.
